All types of batteries should be subjected to tests T.1 to T.6 and T.8. All types of non-rechargeable battery packs, including battery packs composed of batteries that have been tested, shall be tested from T.1 to T.5. All types of rechargeable battery packs, including battery packs composed of batteries that have been tested, should be tested in accordance with T.1 to T.5 and T.7. In addition, rechargeable single-cell battery packs with protection devices against overcharging shall be subjected to the test of T.7.
