WHO IS WPC?
The Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) Wing under the Ministry of Communication was formed in 1952. This is comprised of the National Radio Regulatory Authority mandated with Frequency Spectrum Management. It includes the licensing ad attending to the wants of every wireless user (private and government) in the country. This body gives out the license to establish, maintain, and operates wireless stations. It also offers all the users with the newest details linked to this Wing.

Products that incorporate wireless, radio of both functionalities that are imported or manufactured in India should come with an Equipment Type Approval certificate from the Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing under the Ministry of Communication’s and Information Technology. It includes any goods with receivers, small digital radios, transmitters, transceivers, Bluetooth, radio frequency identification (RFID) readers and tags, as well as wireless mouse and keypads.
