Application process

1. Product manufacturers, importers and traders (hereinafter referred to as standard users) register with the Indian Energy Efficiency Agency, download and read related documents, such as "Energy Efficiency Standardization; Details of Energy Efficiency Labeling Scheme" and S&L of each product Plan etc.

2. The label user indicates that he agrees to the conditions of the product plan by submitting the application form and agreement in Appendix I of the "Energy Efficiency Standardization: Details of the Energy Efficiency Labeling Program" and a non-judicial imprint paper worth 100 rubles. The agreement is valid for 3 years.

3. The label user submits a separate application form for each device. The application fee for each device is 1,000 rubles. The renewal cost of the label is 500 rubles.

4. The manufacturer should also pay the labeling fee for each device

5. After receiving the complete application form and the actual energy efficiency label sample, the Energy Efficiency Agency of India will review the information.

6. If the review is passed, BEE will send mail/letters to the label users, and the label users can add labels.

7. The Energy Efficiency Agency of India will regularly review the content of the standard and the way of label display. The frequency of review and testing is determined by the Energy Efficiency Agency of India based on the characteristics of the product and the time required for the test.
